Yoo Hoo a finish

I'm so excited to finally be able to show this finish.

This is a wallhanging designed by Lisa Calle.
I pieced this on a retreat I went to in May.
I wanted to make it so that I could quilt it.
I used Lisa's quilt for the quilting inspiration.
Get ready for heavy picture post.
Overlook the folds and wrinkles I was excited to show you.

Learned a lot.
Ruler work, cross hatching, new fillers.

Just click on any picture to get a larger view.
There are a few wrinkles because I have carried this around all week to show anyone I could find.
I haven't seen a lot of my quilty friends, so I can't wait to share with them.

Just look at the back.
Love it.
Wall hanging is about 40X40.
Pattern by Lisa Calle.
Fabric is Mama Said Sew by Sweetwater.

Glide thread, I just love that thread.
Three different rulers, 2 circles and an arch.

This was so much fun and I learned so much.
I have plans to make another with a little different quilting but first
I need to finish up a few more customer memory quilts.

Thanks for stopping by.
I'm still having problem replying to comments, but I do read every one and
appreciate all comments

Remember I still have a HQ16 with studio frame and a lot of extras for sale, if interested leave
a comment or email me directly.

Just a little peek

I have been very busy lately.
Trying to get caught up with customer quilts and do a little of my own.
I went on a retreat with 5 friends and was able to make a wall hanging.
It was not a difficult pattern, I wanted to make it so I could quilt it.

A few quirks with the ruler work but I am very pleased at how it is turning out.
I will give all the details when I finish and can show the whole thing.
Just a few more peeks.

One of the corners.

Like I said, loving this.

Millie came home today, APQS Millie that is.
(Insert happy dance)
So if you know anyone who is looking for a
HQ16 I have one for sell.
Leave a message or email me directly and I will give you all the details.
Has been a good machine, in fact, I have thought about just keeping it
but I keep telling myself that I only need one.

Thanks for visiting and taking a look.
Have a great weekend,  I will be busy with my wallhanging and putting Millie together.
